This could be the last post on this blog. In the works is a fresh new blog design that will showcase photos in a larger format. On the new blog, I look forward to posting about the largest project I have ever worked on, which is wrapping up now. Also a launch of a new venture with my talented hairstylist/makeup artist friend Funda.

Anyway, a post is a little boring without photos, so here are a few from a weekend jaunt to Bragg Creek. Calgary is a little slow to show signs of spring, usually until May. The warm temps we have had lately are encouraging!

Handsome bf was born in Germany and was craving some German cuisine so we went to the Bavarian Inn . Worth the little drive to Bragg Creek, sooo good.

What a perfect wintery day for this couple to be married. While we were heading to the formal site, an ice fog blew in. Despite the cold, the light was pretty. And so were this couple!

I met Lindsay and Bryan in Banff for an engagement session. What a fun and beautiful day.

I met Katie when she was 1. I love having the opportunity to meet clients every year to see the growth of families. Katie is now 4 and as cute as ever. This session was the morning after a very icy storm. The light was beautiful with the sun filtered by an ice cloud.

Baby Max surprised his mommy Meghan and his Daddy Mike (my brother), by making a very quick arrival into this world. He is tiny at around 5 1/2 lbs and 17 inches long, but so perfect. I love the dimple in his chin and his sandy coloured hair. I had to stop taking photos so I could snuggle him.

“Ma-aax, wake u-up”. Then one eye opens to look at his mommy, then he smiles at her.

That is one tiny bandaid.

Mike and Megs are so happy and relaxed.

I loved meeting with Janine, her husband Mike and Benjamin and little baby Hailey. Such cute little ones., Hailey is a sweet-as-pie 3 month old and Benjamin an active 3 year old. I can almost hear myself saying, “Please be careful around your baby sister!”

I have known Diana since we were kids. It was great to meet her adorable family a few weeks ago at Stanley Park. Rylan and Cassidy are such beautiful kids!

 

A few weeks ago, on a chilly October weekend, I met with Julie and Chris for a couple’s session. They braved the cold and kept each other cozy. They are so cute.
