My brother Mike and his girlfriend Meghan are expecting a baby (my nephew!) in a couple of months. We went to Nosehill Park to capture some maternity/couple photos. Meghan is gorgeous and they are both so happy. So am I!

What a beautiful fall evening in Canmore for Mark and Christie’s engagement session. I had a great time with these two and I can’t wait for their wedding next summer here in Calgary.

Harry’s daddy and I took him to Calaway Park for a last of summer hurrah! Usually he is pretty reserved for the camera but he could not contain his glee.

It was so fun to be on the other side of the camera with my handsome boyfriend Mike. Sarah took us around Inglewood and made magic with her camera. We are both so happy with the results. My mom even loved them, though she said they made her blush.

Today Lily starts school at St. Angela’s, an all-girl school. I was there to watch her get ready. Of course it was bittersweet. But she is ready, she is so grown up.

Janna put Lily’s hair in cloth rollers. So cute. The outcome was a little crazy though so braids were plan b.

I met Natacha and Shamsu though Faiz and Iram, whose wedding I covered last month. Little Rayyan is such a sweet little boy. We spent some time at Bowness Park and he had a little treat at the end. Ice Cream!

When Alison contacted me earlier this year to tell me that she was expecting twins, I was so excited for her and Chris. I expected total chaos in a house with two preschoolers, Marshall and Anna and newborn twins, Campbell and Christian. Actually is was quite calm, there was an air of confidence and cooperation. Campbell and Christian are identical and so cute!

In a herculean logistical challenge, Zabin managed to gather her large extended family in one place at one time for a photo session. With 6 children under the age of 2 in the family, she should be commended! Despite more dreary weather we went ahead with the shoot, in the house and in the back yard.

That is six adorable little faces, 12 nibble-on-able knees, 60 tempting toes!

I was there 5 years ago when you came into this world. I was so proud of your mommy as she was so tough. Then I laid my eyes on you, you little angel. You were perfect. And now you are about to start Kindergarten. I know you will do so well and make us all proud. You are smart, sweet and so funny.
I love you, my niece.

How old are you today?

Louise and Kelly were married at one of my favorite locations, The Ranche. It was an intimate wedding, around 30 people. Louise and Kelly were so happy and relaxed.
